WEEK 2

LEARNING REFLECTION JOURNAL

     This week I learned some things. I learned how to participate in a forum discussion in the "Aula virtual" of the university web page. Also, I learned how use "Aula virtual", with our account that was created to do the assignments and tasks for this subject. I searched my ideas about what I learnt and also I analyzed the arguments from my others classmates. In the forum I could agree and disagree their opinions giving my point of view. I expect to use all the knowledge I got during this classes to have a clear idea for participation in their forums opinions related with the information researched on some other web pages. I am learning every week because now I am able to  participate in any forum because the information provide to us is really useful and now we can search ideas about the things we are learning.

EVALUATING WEB SITES

In my first class I learnt how to evaluate web sites in order to know if a website is reliable or not.I had to read some questios carefully to recognize some characteristics that describe a good web page, if it is reliable the web page needs to have updated information. Also, to recognize a web page owner we nned to identify teh name of the person, company or organization who wrote the article. These characteristics to identify the content of the web page are really useful because I can notice if the web page provides me some other links that will help me to expand my search, or if its information is only plagiarizsm from other web sites.
